Terms of Service

Last updated: October 5, 2026 · Operated by Alien Stagecraft LLC

1. Agreement to These Terms

Alien Poker Club (“Alien Poker Club”, “we”, “us”) is a poker training website operated by Alien Stagecraft LLC. These Terms of Service are the agreement between you and Alien Stagecraft LLC covering your use of the site, the game, and everything attached to it.

By creating an account, starting a guest session, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.

Two other documents form part of this agreement: our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy.

2. What Alien Poker Club Is (and Is Not)

Alien Poker Club is a poker training and practice simulator. You play hands against computer-controlled opponents in order to practice, study, and get better at poker.

This is not gambling. To be completely clear:

  • All play is with play money. Chips have zero monetary value.
  • Chips cannot be bought, sold, traded, redeemed, or cashed out.
  • There is no wagering, no real-money play, and no prizes of any kind.
  • Winning or losing chips has no financial consequence whatsoever.

The only money that ever changes hands is an optional annual subscription fee for the Premium tier, which buys access to the software and nothing else. It is not a stake, a buy-in, or a deposit.

Alien Poker Club supports four game variants: No-Limit Hold’em, Limit Hold’em, Omaha 8 Hi-Lo, and Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO). Omaha 8 Hi-Lo and PLO are labeled BETA — see section 10.

Version 1 of the game runs in a web browser on desktop computers, tablets and mobile phones.

3. Eligibility

You must be 18 years of age or older to use Alien Poker Club. By using the service you confirm that you are.

You may hold one account per person, and the email address on that account must be a real address you control. Accounts are personal. They are not to be shared, sold, transferred, or used by more than one person.

4. Accounts and Security

You can start a free account with just your email address and choose a password later. We email you a link to confirm the address. Until you confirm it, the account works for 3 days; after that it pauses until you do.

You are responsible for your account credentials and for anything that happens under your account. Choose a password you do not use anywhere else.

We store passwords only as Argon2id hashes. We never store, and cannot recover, your plain-text password — if you lose it, the only route back in is a password reset by email.

If you believe someone else has accessed your account, change your password and email us at [email protected] right away.

We may suspend or close an account that appears to be compromised, automated, duplicated, or used in breach of section 9.

5. Guest Mode

You can play without an account. A guest session is time-limited and requires no email address.

Guest play is deliberately temporary. We make no guarantee that anything from a guest session is saved: hand histories, settings, and progress may disappear when the session ends, when you close the browser, or when we change how the service works. If you want your hands kept, create an account.

6. Free Tier and Premium

Free. A free account lets you play up to 100 hands per day for the first 30 days after registration, and up to 25 hands per day after that. The daily counter resets at midnight Pacific time. Free accounts get the core game and its features; the limit is on volume, not on functionality.

Guest play. Playing without an account is a limited trial. On each of the first seven days you play, you may play up to 30 minutes; on each of the next seven days you play, up to 15 minutes; after that an account is required. Days are counted in Pacific time and only days on which you actually play count.

Premium. Premium costs $25 per year. There is one price and one plan. Premium removes the daily hand limit and gives unlimited play.

A Premium subscription renews automatically each year at the then-current price until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time from your account page, and canceling is the only step required — you do not need to email us.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. You keep Premium access until that date, and you are not charged again after it. Canceling does not by itself produce a refund; see section 8.

7. Billing and Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe’s own payment page and never touch Alien Poker Club servers. We do not see, store, or have any way to retrieve your card number.

What we do store is a Stripe customer identifier, your subscription status, and the start and end dates of your paid period — enough to know whether your account is Premium and when it renews.

Your use of Stripe’s checkout is also subject to Stripe’s own terms and privacy policy.

If we change the price of Premium, we will announce it in advance by email or in the app. A price change never applies to a term you have already paid for — it takes effect at your next renewal, and you can cancel before that renewal if you do not want the new price.

Prices are in US dollars. Any taxes, currency conversion fees, or bank charges applied by your card issuer are yours to pay.

8. Refunds

We offer a straightforward refund window on Premium charges. The details — how long the window is, what it covers, and how to ask — are in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

9. Acceptable Use

Use the service the way it is meant to be used. Specifically, you agree not to:

  • Use bots, scripts, scrapers, or any automated system to play hands, harvest strategy data, or hammer our APIs.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source of the game engine, AI, or strategy data.
  • Resell, sublicense, rent, or otherwise commercialise access to the service.
  • Share an account with other people, or create multiple accounts to get around the free-tier daily limit.
  • Attack or degrade the service — denial of service, probing for vulnerabilities, circumventing rate limits, or interfering with other users.
  • Submit abusive, harassing, threatening, or deliberately junk content through the in-app feedback form.
  • Use the service for anything unlawful, or to present it as real-money gambling.

We may suspend or terminate access for breaches of this section, and for serious or repeated breaches we may do so without notice.

10. Beta Features and Strategy Advice

Beta variants. Omaha 8 Hi-Lo and PLO are shipped as BETA. They are playable but less mature than the Hold’em variants: rules handling, AI behavior, and advice may contain errors, and they may change or be withdrawn.

Strategy advice. The GTO and coaching advice in the game is educational and provided as-is. It is an approximation produced by our own engine, not the output of a certified commercial solver. It can be wrong, it can be incomplete, and it is not tailored to any specific opponent pool.

Nothing in the app is a guarantee of poker results. Practicing here will not make you win money at a card room, and you accept full responsibility for any decisions you make away from the simulator.

11. Our Content and Your Content

Ours. The software, game engine, AI opponents, strategy content, ranges, artwork, and site design are owned by Alien Stagecraft LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service for your own poker practice. Nothing more is transferred to you.

Yours. Hand histories you generate and feedback you submit remain yours. By using the service you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, display back to you, and analyze that content for the purpose of operating, debugging, and improving the service — including improving our AI and strategy advice in aggregate, non-identifying form. We do not sell it and we do not publish it with your name attached.

Feedback you send us may be acted on freely and without obligation or payment to you.

12. Availability and Changes

We run the service on a best-effort basis. There is no uptime guarantee or service level agreement. We may take the site down for maintenance, deploy changes during play, or experience outages caused by our hosting or third-party providers.

We may add, change, or remove features, variants, AI personalities, and interfaces at any time. We will try to give notice of significant changes, and we will not intentionally strip Premium of the unlimited play it was sold with during a paid term.

13. Termination and Account Deletion

You can stop using the service at any time. You can also delete your account yourself from your account page, which removes your account and your saved hand histories. Deletion is permanent and we cannot undo it.

Deleting your account while a Premium subscription is active ends your access immediately and cancels future renewals. It does not automatically trigger a refund — if you are within the refund window and want your money back, ask before you delete, using the process in the Refund Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the service. If we shut the service down entirely while you hold a paid subscription, we will refund the unused portion of your term.

14. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alien Stagecraft LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, that hand histories will never be lost, or that the AI and strategy advice will be accurate. We make no representation of any kind about your poker results, on this site or anywhere else.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alien Stagecraft LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or gambling losses, arising out of or relating to your use of the service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. For a free account, that amount is zero.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability; where that is the case, these limits apply only as far as the law permits.

16. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Alien Stagecraft LLC, its owners, and its contractors from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

17. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States of America, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and Alien Stagecraft LLC agree that the state and federal courts located in California have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute that is not resolved informally.

Before filing anything, please email [email protected]. Most problems are a support issue rather than a legal one, and we would rather just fix it.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. When we make a material change we will update the “last updated” date above and give notice by email or in the app.

Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them, cancel your subscription and stop using the service.
